Consultation Fees

The Hastings Clinic is a Private Billing Clinic, however, do have the ability to Bulk Bill patients with valid Concession Card, Aged Pensioners, Veteran Affairs Card Holders and children under 16 years.

Phone Consult Bulk Bill written Consent is now required.

To be able to still provide an affordable service to our patients we now require all patients upon completion of their telehealth consultation with their GP to provide written approval to be Bulk Billed by the doctor. Unfortunately, if we are unable to obtain this approval by the patient on the day, we are unable to bulk bill and therefore the patient is solely responsible to pay for the consolation.    

This can be done by performing the following:

SMS/Text Message Approval.

After the consultation has ended, the patient will be sent a text message via our online booking system HotDoc to click the link. This link asks you to enter your surname and Date of birth as verification. Once validated you are then asked to agree to the services provided by your doctor and click the 'I agree" button to be bulk billed.   You can opt to save a copy of your agreement. Our clinic is then notified that you agree to be bulk billed and the account can be completed.

Cancelling Appointments 

If you no longer require your appointment, please call our reception team at least two hours prior to cancel your appointment. Failure to do so may incur a charge for a non-attendance fee of $25.00.
